Goal of the research is to understand the bioeconomy system from a life cycle perspective, in order to support regional and national stakeholders in accelerating innovation in the bioeconomy field. The research is carried out in a close collaboration between the University of Rostock and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ, Department of Bioenergy, in Leipzig.
