Die Abteilung Geoinformatik der Deutschen Geodätischen Kommission (DGK) und der Arbeitskreis Geoinformatik der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Photogrammetrie, Fernerkundung und Geoinformation (DGPF) veranstalten am 15. und 16. Mai 2019 an der Universität Rostock ihr viertes gemeinsames Doktorandenkolloquium.
Ziel des Kolloquiums ist es, den wissenschaftlichen Austausch zwischen jungen Forschern in den interdisziplinären Bereichen Photogrammetrie, Fernerkundung, Kartographie, Geoinformatik zu fördern. Es richtet sich an Doktoranden, die in ihren Promotionsvorhaben bereits erhebliche Fortschritte gemacht haben und motiviert sind, ihre Ergebnisse auszutauschen sowie offen für Feedback und Diskussionen sind. Doktoranden aller Fachrichtungen, die sich mit der Verarbeitung von Geoinformationen befassen (z.B. Geoinformatik, Photogrammetrie, Informatik, Kartographie, Geographie, Fernerkundung, etc.) sind willkommen.

Chair of Geodesy and Geoinformatics is organising the 4th PhD Colloquium of the DGK Division on Geoinformatics and the DGPF Working Group on Geoinformatics on May 15-16, 2019, Justus-von-Liebig-Weg 6
The Division on Geoinformatics (Abteilung Geoinformatik) of the German Geodetic Commission (Deutsche Geodätische Kommission, DGK) and the Working Group on Geoinformatics (Arbeitskreis Geoinformatik) of the German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photogrammetrie, Fernerkundung und Geoinformation, DGPF) will hold their fourth joint PhD colloquium on May 15-16, 2019, at Rostock University.
The colloquium aims to stimulate scientific exchange between young researchers in the interdisciplinary fields of photogrammetry, remote sensing, cartography, geoinformatics and others. It is targeted at PhD students who have already made considerable advances in their PhD projects and are motivated to share their findings as well as open for feedback and discussions. PhD students from all disciplines dealing with geospatial information processing (e.g., geoinformatics, photogrammetry, computer science, cartography, geography, remote sensing, etc.) are welcome.
