Research Interests and PhD topic
My research interest focuses on the fungal plant pathogen Pyrenophora teres, with the aim of elucidating the molecular virulence factors involved in disease development. A key objective is to gain a deeper insight into the complex interactions between P. teres and its host, thereby improving our understanding of pathogen-host relationships and the molecular mechanisms that drive plant disease contributing to the development of sustainable and targeted plant protection strategies.
