The chair for Structural Analysis and Structural Dynamics was established in the context of the MV-based multiple institution engineering study program in the fields of Civil, Landscape and environmental engineering concept (BLU-Konzept) and started its activities in October 2023.

The chair is responsible for subjects concerning fundamental and special topics in static and dynamic structural analysis. The courses within Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering study programs range from the 1^st semester Bachelor to Master level. 

Research activities concentrate on wide range of problems in the fields of numerical and experimental structural analyses. Special focus is given to the safe operation of existing structures and to contribute towards sustainable developments of built infrastructure.
