Since September 1, 2022, René Naujoks and Frederik Harrs have been supporting the work of the professorship as part of a Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ).

For several years now, we have been offering the opportunity to complete a voluntary ecological year at the Chair of Landscape Ecology and Site Studies. A year working in the professorship offers the opportunity to gain insight into our current research fields on biodiversity and greenhouse gases and to participate in scientific work in the field, laboratory and on the computer.

They will be particularly involved in the ongoing field work and investigations of the current projects: Baltic TRANSCOAST and OptiMoos.
