The focus area Advanced Engineering Mathematical and Computer Methods includes modules from mathematics and computer science. In the focus area, the engineering mathematical and computer technical aspects are deepened, which are particularly relevant for digital and numerical working methods in civil engineering.

The following modules can be taken:

• Computer graphics
• Databases for users
• Mathematics for Engineers 3: Differential Equations and Multivariable Calculus
• Numerics and Stochastics for Engineering
• Geoinformatics/GIS

Since individual modules are only offered in the winter semester and the prerequisites for taking them are already given after the second semester, the modules can be taken in the 3rd and 5th semester.
