Water annd Environment

Fish ladder on the Havel

The focus area Water and Environment includes engineering, planning and process engineering modules for environmental analysis in general and specialises in modules to be able to calculate and plan the water supply quantitatively and qualitatively and to ensure water quality and water protection. This focus area also creates good prerequisites for transferring to the Master's programme in Environmental Engineering at the faculty after graduating with a Bachelor's degree.

The following modules can be taken:

  • Analysis of Environmental Data
  • Environmental Process Engineering
  • Environmental and Landscape Planning
  • Hydrology and Meteorology
  • Hydrological Working Methods
  • Stream and River Regulation, Coastal Engineering and Flood Protection

Since individual modules are only offered in the winter semester and the prerequisites for taking them are only given from the fourth semester onwards, the modules can be taken in the 5th semester.
