The focus area of structural engineering delves into aspects of design, the choice of materials and the structural design, calculation and dimensioning of engineering structures. With the complex designs, a networked and comprehensive view of questions of structural and civil engineering is conveyed.

The following modules can be taken:

• Technical representation theory
• Structural engineering - complex design
• Civil engineering - complex design
• Project in construction informatics
• Practical module in civil engineering

Since individual modules are only offered in the winter semester and the prerequisites for taking them are only given from the fourth semester onwards, these modules can only be taken in the 5th semester.
