Equipment

The equipment of the working group "Landscape Ecology and Site Evaluation" comprises an network of eddy covariance towers of the projekt "MoorFlux.Net" for the measurement of metereological data and greenhouse gas exchange in percolation mires of river valleys and in the coastal peatland ‘Hütelmoor’. In addition, we own several weather stations that are used in specific projects.

Further, the working group uses a Picarro Gas-Scooter and an UGGA (Ultraportable Greenhouse Gas Analyzer) for mobile measurements. We use these analyzers in combination with different chamber types and can therefore measure greenhouse gas fluxes across a large variety of natural and agricultural ecosystems.

Besides several portable analyzers, our lab features two gas chromatographs, a DOC-Analyzer and a continuous flow analyzer for photometric analytics
